Tiny House on Wheels (THOW)

One of the most recognizable features of this house is when you step inside and see the white shiplap walls and the stained pine trim accents on the ceiling.

You might find yourself thinking about an episode of HGTV and the show fixer upper, where Chip & Jo frequently use the style in their beautiful home renovations. But even more than that, this design reflects the Amish heritage in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where it was custom built. We found inspiration while driving on those back roads, seeing old farmhouses and rustic barns dotted all over the rolling fields in our backyard. We took that inspiration and translated it into the design of this house.

From the custom-built sliding barn door, to the open shelves in the kitchen that provide storage while maintaining an open and airy feeling, every corner of this home is designed to be functional and beautiful for everyday use. The farmhouse sink anchors the kitchen design and contrasts beautifully against the grey cabinets and white walls
